What should i do?I am working 8 hours at a call center company. At first I am having lots of fun with my work, considering that I am earning lots of bucks compared with what i am earning with my past jobs. But now, i am having some difficulties on how I can handle those customers who are always angry. What can I do to handle this? Thanks a lot.

"Why are they angry?"
Are they angry:1) Because they are angry and that is their nature? 2) Because the product or service they bought sucks? 3) Because the companies webpage should have resolved their issue but did't? 4) Because you aren't given the proper tools to help them?

"Why customers get angry"
Very sensible questions to ask, Wilbur. There are various reasons why customers or callers get irate. And most of the time, it is because there's something wrong with the product or service they availed of and they feel shortchanged, or feel as if they are not getting what they paid for. Sometimes, too, something goes wrong, they call customer service and ask to help them fix it, but they don't get action right away (some call center agents give the standard reply "I'll coordinate it with so-and-so department..". • Page 1 (Original Post) •
