| How to deal with angry customersNowadays you get angry cutomers all the time. Quality control, transportation, mail service, etc. All go wrong on deliveries for goods bought over the internet.Angry customers will get on the phone and blast anyone they get on the other end of the line. (I just did with a bank the other day) So there are instances when this is justified. But, donīt think that the complaint is getting to the right person. In fact, the guilty party rarely gets the complaint. That is the only comfort you can feel when you get one of these calls. Just ride the wave, and let it go. Say "yes" all the time. Wait to the storm to subside. Cheers! |
| Customer service agents should get used to angry and irritable customers. It's part of their job to be insulted, berated, scolded and shouted at by customers who think they are the king of the world just because they are customers. Customer service agents should not take them seriously because they will go crazy and lose their self-esteem if they do that. Just take everything in stride and maintain your friendly voice when you answer such calls. |
