• Page 1 (Original Post) • Laure from Springvale, Georgia - I sell a very necessary product to current and prospective bowling centers. This is still peak season for us but due to circumstances beyond the salespersons scope we do not have enough product in inventory to provide our clients until at least mid April. The boss wants us to sell sell sell. How would you approach this to a prospective new client? Would you even call them to see if they needed shoes just to say "Oh sorry out of this that would you mind waiting a month?" If you were the prospective customer would you be angry we called to get your business and not be able to deliver until mid April? Can anyone give me some advice on this other than the boss saying sell sell sell our product is hot, we can't keep them on the shelves. That is not the only reason they are not on the shelf...
