Customer Service

Thank author of this post/commentAfter some discussion with other staff members, our meetings last week, and my own thoughts, I have thought much about customer service. I want to start a series of blog postings for customer service. In my opinion, customer service ranks higher than any other service we offer. It makes a lasting impression, whether good or bad, on our patrons. Because of this, customer service is a priority. So to begin with discussion I want input from everyone. When you hear the words customer service, what immediately pops into your head? Answer this question and well see where to go from that point. Thanks!

A bunch of robots who say rehearsed lines to appease customers temporarily.

And when you head tech support you think of the robots knowing even less than you do, reading from the wrong manual pages, prohibited from apply any intelligent thought to helping resolve your problem.

And, if it is a tech support for a US Based Company then you also think they will blame you for their problems.

If THEIR internet service is down, then it is your fault and you need to reinstall windows!

The first thing which pops into your head when you hear of customer service is" expectations of yours and service of theirs".

Well do agree with the fact that you can post blogs about your customer service; but you might not be able to target the part of population who might not have used internet or who do not use it or don't have the time to use it. Let it show in your service when you serve a customer; and mind you words spread fast.

Ahh..Customer Service. Well these are groups of people who are so friendly whom I talked on the phone. So far, I haven't encountered any unpleasant treatment from the customer service representatives I have talked to. It looked like they made use all of their resources and walked with me with the steps to resolve my problem.

By the time I encounter a rude customer service representative, I just don't know how I'm going to talk to him/her.
