How do I rectify this credit fraud situation? - Equipment
| How do I rectify this credit fraud situation? In February, my wallet was stolen and the thief fraudulently used a few of my credit cards. Luckily, most of it was determined to be fraud and I didn't have to pay for it. All except my Best Buy card...I filed a police report and of course canceled all my cards when I realized they were missing and that someone had been using them. UPS provided the signature of the person who signed for the package, but it wasn't much help. Just last week (Now almost four months after the original fraudulent activity) I received a letter from Best Buy stating that their investigation is complete. They attached a copy of the proof that the product was delivered and stated that they |

Why not report to your CREDIT CARD COMPANY that you did not authorize the transaction and did not receive the merchandise. They should issue a charge back. Have your CREDIT CARD COMPANY investigate not the store the thief purchased something from. |
