I live in the Dominican Republic and have a really nice music equipment back home in Germany. The problem is that there we have 220 V and where I live now we have 110 V.

Is it worth bringing it over and trying to get an adapter? Or will it probably never work properly? It's very heavy with different quality elements, and would be expensive to bring.
