Call Queuing Software?

Thank author of this post/commentDoes anyone know of a program that you can put on a computer with a modem that will turn it in to a call queuing server where we can use it at our small business? Something where, if several customers call in at once, it will put them in a queue where it will tell them "Your call will be answered in X minutes"? You know, they have them for call centers all the time. I was looking online and it seems like there's a lot of expensive "services" out there, but I'm wondering if anyone knows of an inexpensive way to do-it-yourself?

I'm sure that you can buy a call queuing software from software shops. I know that most service-oriented companies have this in installed in their call center because I encounter this whenever I call banks or malls here in the Philippines.

The thing is, this software may cost too much for a small business like yours. You might want to check it out online to find out if you can afford it. Otherwise, your customers would have to keep on calling your hotline until they can get through.

Well I think even though you can contact a call center to purchase this queuing software, it will still be expensive. Buying software really requires a lot of money and there are a lot of things to be done so you will know the operation of it.

But I think, somehow it will also be helpful if you try to purchase online. You can get discounts sometimes in there.

One of the most admire profession that I really love to engage with is being a call center agent. I really love that work. I actually work as one last year and the only problem I have with it is the working time I had. Its too tiring and I kept on making my body used to each even after my job. Is it bad? Many finding now are telling the public how risky the percentage of having breast cancer when you are in that job.

Is that so. Oh well, working in a call center really gives people a chance to earn so much. A friend of mine who works in a call center earns enough for their needs in the house and also have some for what they want.

I find it hard to work in a call center as it needs you to stay awake all night long. And I am not used to working too late at night and working in front of the computer taking up calls and all.

Agree with John. This type of work is excellent but tiring. I really havenīt heard of the type of software that Laure is talking about, but I am sure that it exists.

I comes in handy when you have callers waiting on standby.

Then you can just handle one at a time. Sounds cool!
