I prefer not to mention the company but I had some trouble connecting my netbook to my TV and trying to set a custom resolution, what ticked me off though was that it took 30 minutes to explain the problemn and when I got done I got interrogated as to why I would not buy the $40 optimization software for my notbook, I explained to the guy that I was broke and that I could not afford it untill pay day and to send me a link so that way I could buy it later if I wanted to. When I got to the manager I told them about the experience and I think I may have went overboard when I stated that the customer service was poor and that "I am not a fan of outsourced call centers" when the manager himself was probably worked at the same place. He said that he was "ashamed", and when he said that I thought I may have been a little bit to raw and too blunt and bit his head off in the process and later felt bad for the guy. Was I wrong for being brutally honest and speaking my mind?

"Calling for Tech Support"

I think if you call for tech support and the support person tries to sell you something... especially something not related to your problem... but anything at all... then a nuclear war would be an appropriate outcome!

Dig out the board of directors and contact each one personally with your opinion of how their company treated you. The best way to to get their home phone and address and call them at dinner hour and send then certified mail at home.
