went to the dr last and she prescribed me meds to to take for a week and which have helped but I have noticed that when at work with the headsets on after 2-3 hrs of being on them taking cals every 30 secs and doing other stuff in btwn makes my headache begin again, went to the DR again today and told her and she recommends I go to workers comp, I dont want to collect dissability, I want to work I just want to be put in another position same pay I dont care as long as Im not on the phones al day every 30 sec answering calls, I have talked to my supervisor and all she tells me is to hang in there or that there is nothing else for me in the company that I can do, which I know its a lie BC i have been told that they need help in the admin DEPT, she says that I cant go there bc its harde than what Im doing now and I know and have been told it is not nearly as stressful as what Im doing now, so she thinks I should go to the mailroom another dept that she can just take me out and put me on the phones whenever she wants, what can I do, myhere is someone else above her, my supervisor is not the last word there is someone else above her if I go to him would I be causing issues once again I do not want dissability I just want a change of position but why is it that my Dr couldnt write a note for me to my Employer she sts that I should see workers comp... pls advice

"headaches"

A friend of mine experienced the same problem, too. Being in headsets too many hours a day caused her health problems in the long run. She eventually had to get another job in another company that doesn't involve taking calls. You just really have to prioritize your health now. Don't prolong if you're really suffering.
