| One of the things I feel secure about in emergency services is that the different functions of it are able to communicate effectively with one another. This disturbs me to know that if I need assistance, it will be like a Russian roulette game as to whether I get timely assistance or not depending on whether radio comm is working or not. |
| Well it is very important that equipments used by firefighters should be of good quality to make sure that they won't be affected when they are on operation. It is just natural to have some system issues but I think the people using it must learn to double check whether the materials and equipments are working well in the middle of operation. | For me, it is really important to check equipments and communication system from time to time because unexpected things may just happen. In cases like this, we should be aware that a lot of lives are at risk. There should be another option or plan if ever one system is experiencing an error. Well, I know that no one wanted that to happen. Human or even equipments may encounter error for some time, but hopefully the incident will not happen again. |
